Living between two worlds

The diabetes community is diverse & objectively excellent.

It’s clear that health research & system design informed by lived experience leads to interventions that better meet the needs of the community. Sadly, our lived experience is often underutilised &, at times, undervalued.

I’m proud to share ‘Living between two worlds: lessons for community involvement,’ our collaborative article published in the March issue of The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology.

These reflections are drawn from the experiences of people with lived experience with diabetes who also work professionally across the diabetes care continuum.

It was an absolute pleasure collaborating with Ashley Ng, Matthew Quigley, Tim Benson, Lauren Cusack, Rachel Hicks, Meaghan Read, Renza Scibilia, Cheryl Steele, Leon Tribe & Elizabeth Holmes-Truscott.
